Students work with a Park Ranger, who provides them with information about a location and a situation, relating to 3-LS2-1 or 3-LS3-2. Students then research and share information with classmates to form connections and develop solutions/ reasons for the situation the Park Ranger shared with them. Once these connections are made students then continue their learning by using Skype or Google Hangouts to communicate with the Park Ranger the Information they collected and analyzed and either continue their investigating or arrive at a reason.
